Hollie is an experienced practitioner, having worked in defence and as a prosecutor prior being called to the Bar.

Hollie practices primarily in criminal law, including in all Local Court proceedings, Children’s Court proceedings, District Court trials, sentences and appeals, and in the Supreme Court.

During the course of her employment as a solicitor with the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions, Hollie had conduct of a varied practice involving matters of alleged sexual assault, persistent child abuse, assault, fraud, robbery, drug offences, kidnapping and murder.

Most recently Hollie worked at Legal Aid NSW in the High Risk Offenders Unit, representing clients captured by the Crimes (High Risk Offenders) Act and the Terrorism (High Risk Offenders) Act in State applications for continuing detention orders and extended supervision orders.

Hollie is experienced in appearing for clients to resist applications for Child Protection Prohibition Orders and Apprehended Domestic Violence Orders. She is experienced in Local Court mental health applications, District Court fitness hearings, and matters involving sexual assault communication privilege.
