Meaghan was admitted as a solicitor in 2003 in NSW and worked with the NSW Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions between 2002 and 2015. This was interspersed with work overseas in East Timor with UNICEF and London as a prosecutions lawyer working for the London Borough of Haringey.

Meaghan’s experience was also broadened by her various secondments; to the Criminal Law Review Division of the Attorney-General’s Department, the Criminal Law and Inquiries teams in the NSW Crown Solicitor’s Office and as a principal lawyer with the Independent Commission Against Corruption. Most recently Meaghan was a senior lawyer within the Court of Criminal Appeal Unit of the NSW Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
Meaghan was called to the Bar in 2015 and specialises in criminal, coronial inquests and commissions of inquiry and appellate matters.
