Rebekah is an experienced practitioner having commenced her legal career at Legal Aid (WA) in the Pilbara (Western Australia). From the Pilbara Rebekah moved to Perth to commence work as a State Prosecutor for the WA Department of Public Prosecutions. For 6 years, Rebekah prosecuted violence, drugs and sexual offence trials.

In 2012, Rebekah moved to the NSW Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and prosecuted armed robberies, sexual and drug offences.

In late 2012, Rebekah completed her Masters in Public and International Law specialising in International Criminal Law and Human Rights Law with the University of Melbourne.

In 2013, Rebekah moved to Victoria Legal Aid, shortly thereafter becoming the Acting Managing Lawyer of the Sexual Offences Team and Program Manager for the state-wide Sexual Offences Program. Rebekah worked exclusively in sexual offences. Rebekah also acted on behalf of those subject to the Serious Sex Offenders (Detention and Supervision) Act (2009). In doing this work, Rebekah was able to apply the Charter of Human Rights and Responsibilities Act (2006).

In 2015, Rebekah returned to New South Wales to commence her reading in Criminal and Family Law.
