William has extensive experience appearing as advocate in the Local, Children’s and District Courts including the following:

  • Traffic matters including licence appeals
  • Jury trials
  • Indictable sentence proceedings

Prior to being called to the Bar he worked for five years as a solicitor for the Aboriginal Legal Service NSW/ACT Ltd in Western NSW, and for three years as a senior solicitor for the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions. He brings the ability to analyse, prepare and present a case with the benefit of significant experience both as a defence lawyer and as a prosecutor. William’s experience as a prosecutor provides a unique insight into police methodology and investigation as well as prosecutorial practice and procedure.

William is on the NSW Legal Aid Indictable Panel.

William accepts briefs to appear in Courts across NSW including regional and remote Courts.
