Before joining the Bar, David was a seasoned Industrial Relations (IR) professional and executive manager with over 15 years of hands-on experience, including senior management roles in the government sector.

With a commitment to fairness and integrity, David has overseen complex, high-stakes investigations into child-related matters, corrupt conduct, serious professional misconduct, serious complaints and concerns about clinicians working in the health sector, and other sensitive issues – always ensuring compliance with relevant ethical and legal standards.

David also has a proven track record in resolving disputes, managing workplace changes, and negotiating with stakeholders – while maintaining a principled and empathetic approach.

In 2009-10, David was President of the Western Sydney University (WSU) Students’ Association and elected student representative to both the WSU Board of Trustees and Academic Senate.

David is known for his strong advocacy skills, simplifying complex legal issues, and delivering pragmatic solutions.
