Background
Blake accepts briefs in all areas of the law, with a particular interest in criminal, family and regulatory matters. He routinely appears in courts across New South Wales as well as interstate and federal jurisdictions.
Prior to being called to the Bar, Blake held positions at Legal Aid NSW, the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions and the Commonwealth Director of Public Prosecutions. He appeared in complex sentence proceedings, hearings, bail applications, appeals, and mental health applications.
Blake holds a Master of Laws (Criminal Justice and Criminology) with Excellence from the University of New South Wales and a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) from James Cook University.
Blake is a member of several Legal Aid panels and is available to appear in both metropolitan and regional courts.
