Professional Experience:

Dominic is an experienced practitioner, having worked both in defence and as a prosecutor prior to being called to the Bar.

Dominic’s primary practice is in criminal law, including bail applications (in all jurisdictions), Local Court proceedings, District Court trials, appeals, sentences, and in the Supreme Court.

In his practise as a solicitor, he had extensive experience representing people charged with a wide range of offences having previously acted for clients facing all types of charges from traffic offences to murder. He worked primarily as a solicitor for Legal Aid NSW but also for DPP both in Victoria and NSW. He has particular experience representing people with mental health issues and cognitive impairments.

Dominic is willing to accept briefs in a wide range of matters including in the regions. Dominic is on a number of Legal Aid panels.
