Mark has been practising continuously as a criminal lawyer for forty years.
He was made Senior Counsel in 2007. He appears in all jurisdictions, including the Supreme Court and the Court of Criminal Appeal.
He has appeared in many major murder trials, as well as all types of criminal offences for the accused. He has a particular interest in cross-examination, which he considers to be the most important part of a trial when acting for accused persons.
He also appears in conviction and sentence appeals in the Court of Criminal Appeal.
