Called to the Bar in 2022

Samantha had extensive experience as a senior criminal lawyer in both private practice and with Legal aid prior to being called to the Bar.  

She has regularly appeared as Solicitor Advocate in the Children’s Court, Local Court, District Court and Supreme Court in hearings, bail applications, mental health diversions, EAGP matters, sentences and appeals. 

Samantha is on the Legal Aid Criminal Law Indictable and Summary panel’s, Children’s Crime panel and Mental Health panel and accepts briefs in regional and metropolitan courts.

In addition to her work in Crime, Samantha has also appeared in Family Law matters and before the Fair Work Commission.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Social Science (Recreation & Tourism) – University of Newcastle 

Juris Doctor – UTS

Masters of Criminology – University of Sydney
