Background
Sophia began her career as a legal assistant in the family law team at Slater and Gordon. She spent two and a half years as a research clerk to a senior junior barrister, with a focus on criminal law, family law, and family provision claims. As a solicitor, she gained experience in family law as well as other areas of civil litigation.
Immediately prior to joining the Bar in 2025, Sophia was Associate to a family law judge at the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia.
Sophia accepts briefs to appear in metropolitan and regional courts.
